Excursions in Maremma
Parco Naturale della Maremma (the natural park of Maremma) was born in 1975 and extends along the southern coast of Maremma from Principina to Talamone.
At the visitor center in Alberese (only 3 km far from the Podere Isonzo) you can find the book office for:
- booking and paying for guided itineraries
- booking and paying for the parking area of the beach of Marina di Alberese (public bus service is available)
- booking for itineraries on horseback in the Park (2 times a day)
- booking and paying for itineraries by canoe along the Ombrone River (embarking pier near the Podere Isonzo)
- trekking in the farm area and wild animal watching of pecular species such as wild boars (Sus scrofa), european roe deers (capreolus capreolus), european turtle (testudo hermanni), pond turtle (Emys orbicularis), european otter (Lutra lutra) hares (Lepus europaeus), foxes, crested porcupine (Histrix cristata), pheasants, flamingo
- excursions on horseback with Butteri (Maremma cowboys) (booking office 1,5 km far from the Podere Isonzo)
- easy reachable riding centers (2 km) with excursions in the Park

E' stata realizzata la pista ciclabile che collega Alberese con il mare.
E’ stato attivato un servizio navetta* andata e ritorno da Rispescia, Alberese e Alberese Stazione che permette di raggiungere la spiaggia con mezzi che transitano ogni 15 minuti. (*questo servizio si riferisce al periodo estivo, durante il resto dell'anno potrebbe subire delle variazioni).
Per coloro che utilizzano il servizio navetta è possibile usufruire del parcheggio auto di Alberese.
Di fronte alla biglietteria del parco troverete un info-point multimediale per informazioni turistiche.
